Katherine is a creative marketing and communications professional known for hitting the mark with her content and managing initiatives that foster connection. With a background supporting communications in higher education and government, and delivering event experiences that sparkle, she brings critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail to every project.
Katherine excels at developing strategies and translating client needs into customized solutions, rooted in the right amount of research. She works closely with clients to deliver clear and actionable marketing communications plans, reports and media strategies that resonate. She is also passionate about entrepreneurship, helping clients to drive business growth. Her approach to communications and event management is rooted in continuous improvement and a commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA).
Katherine is a former member of the Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine communications team, where she worked closely with New Brunswick research faculty and supported undergraduate medical education programs. In addition to spearheading communication strategies, she increased community engagement and fostered networking opportunities among researchers and students, strengthening connections within New Brunswick’s medical community.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of New Brunswick and an Indigenous Canada certificate from the University of Alberta. She is based in Saint John, NB.
