Lesley is a veteran communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience serving clients and customers in agency and corporate sectors. With a diverse background in public relations, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and marketing, she brings a unique blend of dedication and ingenuity to every initiative.
Whether developing integrated marketing communications campaigns, crafting strategic communications plans or leading innovation pilot programs, Lesley is detail-oriented and results-driven. She leads with empathy and professionalism. In addition to delivering exceptional client work, she lives CCGoodwin’s values and is a key contributor to the team’s purpose and culture.
At CCGoodwin, Lesley has led a wide range of initiatives, from complex national-scale engagement projects to government relations planning and community relations strategies, among others. In her previous roles in the energy industry, she worked as a brand strategist, communicator, spokesperson, writer and project manager. She’s been fondly described as a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ due to her multi-faceted background in everything from crisis communications planning to retail activations. While working at award-winning agencies in both Halifax and Saint John, Lesley brought her versatility to a wide variety of clients in aviation, cannabis, domestic beer, economic development and tourism.
Lesley holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and an Indigenous Canada certificate from the University of Alberta. Lesley is based in Saint John, NB and serves on the Board of Directors of the Saint John Family Resource Centre.
