Marie Jo is a strategic thinker with more than 20 years’ experience in corporate strategy, product marketing and business operations. She has led initiatives that improve operational efficiencies in public and private institutions by leveraging business transformation technologies. With industry expertise in the ICT, cybersecurity, education and startup sectors, Marie Jo has mastered bridging business and technology.
Marie Jo plays a key role in strategic and operational planning, contributing to CCGoodwin’s culture of learning, excellence, client-centricity and fun. Internally, she oversees finance and administration, as well as knowledge management, process improvement, HR and culture planning. She also applies her skillset to deliver excellent client support on projects related to facilitation, marketing, business development and change management.
Marie Jo has helped numerous organizations achieve their goals using a strategic planning methodology that is iterative and focused on addressing obstacles. She was part of the founding team of Q1 Labs (later sold to IBM), one of New Brunswick’s biggest startup success stories. She later joined Mariner Partners as one of its first 10 employees and led the marketing of the Mariner xVu™ brand for nearly a decade. At the Wallace McCain Institute, she promoted member engagement and helped shape and realize the organization’s mission and strategic directions. As the Senior Director of Strategic Operations at Rothesay Netherwood School, she led the operations of the organization through the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic while also developing and implementing the 2020-2025 strategic plan and a risk management framework.
Marie Jo holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of New Brunswick and is an IAF Certified™ Professional Facilitator (CPF) with the International Association of Facilitators. Marie Jo lives in Quispamsis, NB.
